Sour Cherry Crisp

If you want to knock your socks off,  try this insanely delicious recipe for fresh sour cherries. Our new favorite weekly event is the visit from Mike of Mike's Organic Delivery - he drops by with a crate full of just picked fruits and veggies. He is s enthusiastic about locally grown products and it's contagious. To accompany our food, he also wows us with recipes for that week's items. Last week's sour cherry crisp was to die for. I followed the instructions and divided it amongst 8 assorted individual ramekins. My kids couldn't get enough. I bet this would work with cranberries too, or any other very tart fruit. Get to your local farmer's market and give it a try.
