About Us

We are sisters and friends who love to laugh, who can’t stop planning and organizing anything and everything, who spend much of our free time rearranging and accessorizing our own homes as well as those of family and friends, always searching for a little something that can pack a design punch while simultaneously being functional. We continually label and tag anything in sight, always with the end goal of making our spaces look better than they did before we started.

We both spent careers in event planning, based in New York City, and have separately traveled the globe planning events that range from intimate weddings to Oscar night bashes. We know that little touches make a difference. We know that everyone wishes there was more time in the day.

After a series of life events including moves, losses, children and becoming neighbors in a suburban town, the planning and creating bug brought us back together. We took the chance to combine our planning skills with a desire to see fun and function work together and created ANY RANDOM JANE. One day while struggling to create a home-made photo mat for one of her kids rooms, Ariane thought, “There has to be something better than scotch tape and construction paper to colorfully display our photos?” And thus was born the laminated product line of Any Random Jane.
